Limited Lifetime Warranty on Wood.
BarrierBoss warrants to the original purchaser that the Kiln Dried Western Red Cedar will not structurally fail due to rot, insect infestation, or fungal decay for the lifetime of the product. “Structural failure” means the inability of the wood to perform as a fence board due to these specific issues.

Maintenance Requirement
To keep this warranty valid, the fence must be re-stained by a BarrierBoss-authorized contractor every 3 years at the installation address. Failure to maintain this re-staining schedule voids the warranty.

Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:

Damage that does not result in structural failure
Improper installation, use, or maintenance
Alterations, modifications, or unauthorized attachments
Damage from accidents, abuse, neglect, or misuse
Weathering, fading, or natural wood characteristics
Damage from fire, flood, storm, wind, earthquake, lightning, or other acts of God
Contact with the ground or any fence boards within 4 feet of ground contact
Any wood that has been cut, split, sawn, bored, routed, or altered after purchase
Damage during shipment (except original shipment if using BarrierBoss carrier)

Claim Process
Claims must be submitted in writing with proof of purchase and photos of the issue. BarrierBoss reserves the right to inspect the product. If covered, BarrierBoss will replace or repair the affected material at its discretion.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
