Corrugated steel. The classic wavy profile, 26-gauge, colour on both faces. The most popular privacy panel we sell and the cheapest way into a metal fence — sheets start at $28.99, complete wood-framed panels at $249.99.

Ribbed deep-groove. A squarer, deeper profile that reads more architectural than agricultural. Same 26-gauge steel and same coating; the difference is the shadow line. Premade deep-groove panels start at $274.99, custom-length sheets at $28.99.

Corten weathering steel. Forms a stable rust patina instead of corroding through. Premium finish, premium price — from $124.99 a sheet. Choose it for looks, not for durability, because the coated steel outlasts it.

High-wind modular. Built to be carried and assembled by one person and to hold up in exposed sites. From $349.99.

Full metal kits. Zero wood anywhere in the build — steel frame, steel posts, steel infill. From $449.99. The right answer where rot, termites or fire risk rule wood out entirely.

Matching gates and toppers. Gates from $274.99 in the same profiles and finishes, so the opening doesn't announce itself. Toppers from $274.99 add height and privacy to a fence you already own.

Frame Options

Unframed sheets — you supply the framing. Lowest cost per foot, most work, most flexibility. Right for anyone already building posts and rails.

Pressure-treated frame — ready to install, and the treated lumber carries a lifetime warranty against rot and insect damage. The default choice for most residential builds.

Western Red Cedar frame — the same panel in a materially nicer wood, from $274.99. Cedar is naturally rot-resistant and takes stain beautifully; it carries a 10-year warranty. Choose it when the fence is part of the landscaping rather than just a boundary.

All-steel frame — no wood to maintain, replace or refinish. Highest upfront cost, lowest lifetime cost.

Finishes

Every steel panel is coated on both faces with DualCoat HDP NoFade paint. That matters more than it sounds: single-sided panels look finished from your yard and raw from the neighbour's, which is how fence disputes start. Ours look the same from both sides.

Six finishes across the range: Black, Brown, Grey, Cream, Galvalume (Silver) and Corten Steel. Corten is supplied bare and weathers to its patina on site; the other five are HDP-coated on both faces.

Durability: 26-Gauge HDP Coating

Gauge is the thing people get wrong. Thinner steel — 29-gauge and up — is cheaper per sheet and dents when a ladder leans on it. We build at 26-gauge throughout, which is the point where a panel survives normal yard life without moving to a heavier, much more expensive product.

The HDP (high-durability polyester) coating is what stops fade. Standard polyester coatings chalk and lose colour within a few seasons in direct sun. HDP holds pigment, which is why we're willing to warrant it for four decades.

Steel privacy panels are also non-combustible — Class A — which is a real advantage in wildfire and WUI zones where wood and vinyl are fuel. If you're fencing in a fire-prone area, this is the single strongest argument for metal over wood.

Why the 40-Year Warranty Matters

Every steel panel carries a 40-year warranty against rust, fade and corrosion. Pressure-treated framing is warranted for life; cedar for 10 years.

A wood privacy fence typically needs staining every few years and replacing well before year 40. Compare total cost across that window, not the price on the first invoice — that's where metal wins, and it's why we publish the warranty term instead of burying it.

Lead times run 2–4 weeks for Loose Truck and 4–6 weeks for Crane Truck in the standard territory, and 6–8 weeks in extended regions. Extended regions are priced separately and the free-delivery threshold doesn't apply there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do metal privacy fence panels rust? The steel is coated on both faces and warranted against rust for 40 years. Corten is the exception — it's designed to form a stable rust patina as its finish.

Can I install these myself? Yes. Unframed sheets suit anyone already setting posts and rails; premade framed panels arrive ready to hang. The high-wind modular system is specifically designed for one-person assembly.

How tall are the panels? Panels run 4', 5', 6', 7' and 8' high in 8'-wide sections — 6'x8' is the most common. Matching gates run from 4'x4' man gates up to 8'x12' double swings, and loose sheets come in lengths from 38" to 93".

Are they noisy in wind? Framed panels are fixed on all four edges, which reduces movement in wind compared with loose sheet metal. If you are fencing an exposed site, the high-wind modular system is the one built for it.

Metal or wood for privacy? Metal doesn't rot, warp, grey, or need staining, and it doesn't burn. Wood is cheaper on day one. Over a 40-year window metal costs less and looks better for more of it — which is why most of our panels pair a steel face with a wood frame rather than choosing one outright.
