The BarrierBoss production process is backwards-integrated. This means we are able to have input and control over the whole production of the material we deliver to you. Our relationships with wood mills trusted because of their highest attention to detail allow us to deliver high-quality wood frames. Our integration with our wire and metal suppliers allow us confidence that right from the beginning of the manufacturing, our customers receive the best.
We have options from full steel fireproof frame and panels, to gorgeous wood and metal combinations.
Customers can choose between Western red cedar or honey brown treated lumber for framing.
Premium Materials, Premium Finishes
The foundation of every BarrierBoss fence lies superior strength and longevity compared to traditional sheet metal fence options.
For our panels, we use gauge 26, whereas many industry competitors offer gauge 29. A gauge 26 panel is slightly thicker but much more resilient over time. With metal fences, the adage is true that you get what you pay for, and the little bit extra goes a very long way in keeping down long-term maintenance.
The coating on a galvanized steel panel matters greatly. These metal fencing panels are also treated with premium PVDF or HDP paints, some of the toughest coatings out there, providing another layer of protection against sun, wind, snow, rain, and rust. In-house we provide five sophisticated colours: glacier white, silver, coastal grey, coffee brown, and midnight black. Custom colours can be achieved post-production.

The Fort Knox
Strong, sturdy, and eminently transportable, the Fort Knox panels were an invention borne of necessity. How do you transport large 8-foot panels with standard pick-up trucks? You cut them in half! The Fort Knox features twice as many posts, not only making it strong, but allowing greater modulation and design flexibility.
