We’re bringing manufacturing closer to our customers. Three new facilities — Arizona, Georgia, and Ontario — each with full production lines, local delivery, and in-person pickup. Shorter lead times, lower freight, faster everything.
The honest version
You’ve been telling us about two things, and we hear you.
Lead times. Production close to one location means long trucking legs to anywhere that isn’t close. Long legs = days and weeks tacked onto your delivery clock. That’s the structural problem this expansion solves — we’re building closer to where you build.
Customer service speed. As we’ve grown, our team has been stretched thin. Replies have taken longer than they should. We’re not going to pretend that’s OK. Each new facility brings a local team alongside it — more people answering your questions, scoping your project, following up after delivery. Better staffing is part of this build-out, not an afterthought.

What this means for specialized products
Today, custom finishes — Corten/rust, green, brown ZM, aluminum, custom mesh openings — run on a single scheduled batch line, which is the main reason our Special Order lead time is 6–8 weeks. With three production hubs spinning up, we’re distributing the specialized lines across all four facilities. Expect the Special Order wait to shrink meaningfully as each new hub picks up its share of custom production.
Why local delivery + pickup matters
Long-haul freight is where the time and cost stack up. By manufacturing close to where you build, we cut both:
- Days, not weeks for standard products in the served regions
- Lower freight — shorter trucking legs, less handling
- Pickup option — if you’re close to a facility, pick it up the same week and skip freight entirely
- Our own trucks for last mile — no third-party freight surprises at your driveway

Will product prices change?
No price increases planned with these openings. The point of building closer to you is to deliver the same pricing faster and with less freight overhead — not to charge more for the privilege.
Are these full manufacturing facilities or just warehouses?
Full manufacturing. Each location will run production, assembly, and dispatch — not just stock-and-ship. That means custom and standard products can both be produced regionally as we ramp up.
Will specialized lines (Corten, custom colours, special mesh) become standard?
That’s the goal. With multiple production hubs, we can distribute custom-finish runs across facilities instead of bottlenecking them in one place. As tooling moves into each new hub, Special Order lead times will drop meaningfully. Expect this to roll out facility-by-facility over 2026–2027.
Can I actually pick up at a facility?
Yes. Each location will offer scheduled local pickup. If you’re within reasonable driving distance and your panels are ready, you can skip freight entirely. We’ll publish pickup hours and scheduling tools as each facility opens.
What does this do to my current order?
Existing orders continue on their current delivery schedule. Once a new facility opens and your address falls in its serviced region, we’ll route from there automatically — you don’t need to choose.
When does Ontario open?
Final timeline is being locked in. We’ll announce specifics as the build-out plan is confirmed. Sign up to be notified above.

My second order of three, so far. Lovely people to deal with, excellent product.
We ordered three Fort Knox panels for a privacy wall. They were easy to move, easy to build before moving them into place. Once build they look fantastic, very solid and easily installed as they measured exactly 8' wide and 6' tall once built. We used 10' 4"X4" post so we could add a little more height then trimmed the post and added post caps.
We'd like to give a special shout out to the Barrier Boss Customer Service team for being so responsive as I was getting anxious to take delivery and get them installed before my hip replacement. They said delivery would be 6-8 weeks, they delivery in about 6 weeks so I had the post in the ground and ready. Following the video instruction the install was simple, taking about two hours to build and install - amazing. We highly recommend working with BarrierBoss and being patient as the wait time is well worth it. We love this product, it looks amazing, we will be back for more fencing in the future. Thanks BarrierBoss for making the best fencing available in the market today.
Good stuff! Worked exactly for what we needed, and looks fantastic. I can't believe I couldn't find this stuff closer to home (Alberta) but it is what it is, delivery was easy anyways so thanks for that.
I ordered several framed and finished hog wire panels as part of a deer fence project. I thought the cost was very reasonable... Due to tariffs, etc. they took a quite while to come, and I started to get paranoid I'd been scammed by a fake website (it is pretty impressive)! Thanks to CS for sending that video, very reassuring...Once the product was delivered I was completely impressed. Delivery was professional and at a reasonable cost...., The quality is amazing... My fence installer wanted to know-- who made these?!!
