What paint goes on our corrugated metal panels?

BarrierBoss primarily uses two high-quality paints on most of our products. HDP paint, which stands for High Durability Polyester paint, is a favourite here at BarrierBoss. HDP is a long-lasting, high-performance coating used on metal surfaces like corrugated metal roofs.
Other BarrierBoss products, like our deep groove metal panels and corrugated metal siding, feature high-quality PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) coating. PVDF is slightly more expensive but incredibly durable. It is the versatile, tough coating you want on an exterior panel that will face the elements for years to come.
HDP is a mainstay because it achieves a pleasing balance between durable weather resistance, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. This makes it a go-to for exterior applications like exposed steel panels, types of metal roofing, and fastened panels.
Something makes HDP paint special. At the chemical level, it incorporates UV absorbers and HALS (hindered amine light stabilizers). This especially matters with surfaces like a standing seam metal roof where UV exposure may be uneven!

PVDF coatings offer long-lasting color retention and can be formulated in a wide range of hues. They are ideal for custom architectural applications. Beyond the curb appeal, PVDF paint provides excellent corrosion and chemical resistance, making it suitable for industrial environments too.
